Liesl, I'm so sorry that you lost your pet. I still can't look at my 'Mattie''s photo and it's been years. Sometimes there is an animal/human bond that is just like human love. It's unbearable when they go.

Oh Melani, I remember when you lost your kitty. That was so hard for you and it still makes me sad to think of that loss. You're so right about the bond. I had Zelda for 15 years and still can't believe she's gone. I picked up her ashes the other day and started crying all over again. Oh, and here we go again. It just never goes away.
No, it never does get better. The tears are flowing with our sharing of our losses. I wish you peace, my friend.
