You people make me sick
Someone asked me to remove the pictures in this post and I have no problem with that. Since the post won't have context, I might as well leave it empty. I've made my point in other ways and don't have a problem editing this one.

Righteous anger rocks!
I had said earlier that while they are obviously wrong (J&J I mean) perhaps they meant well. Now that I have seen some video footage and photos of the rally, I retract even that notion. Jim Carey stood up and said that children like my son serve as "a warning from the universe." That is just evil.
I was careful about preventing my son from even overhearing the video, whether he would understand what they are on about or not. Eventually he will discover the cruel way people like him are treated but I chose to protect him for now. I couldn't begin to imagine bringing him on a march to loudly proclaim some bogus theory of how "damaged and toxic" he is. Shame on them.
OK, I haven't looked into this very far, but isn't it likely that they see their children suffering and want to place blame on something external that they might have a hope of controlling? In other words, scapegoat the vaccines instead of taking the child's condition as a given and dealing with it from there.

When Carrey and McCarthy get their faces on television and start blathering their no nothing commentaries on the vaccine causes of Autism, my blood pressure rises and I scream at the tv to STFU!!

Sharon: I was also someone who wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, until I saw the pictures and video. I know that must have hurt you and that makes me even angrier! I can't believe I used to like Jim Carrey. Ugh!
Esha: Of course they're looking for something to scapegoat. But they past that innocent phase long, long ago and they've moved on to abusive behavior in the name of their own pathetic needs. You haven't looked much into this, but you should. These are people who think that autistic children aren't human, should be sterilized so that they cannot reproduce and are worthless unless they are "cured." How much sympathy do you really want to have for them?

I've thought about this post all day and wondered if it was too much. Sure, the profanity was over the top and the feelings I expressed were very passionate, but the more I think about it, the more I think this kind of outrage is necessary. The harm these people are doing is so huge, so wide spread, and so irrevocable. I think we should take a trip to L.A. to protest the moron twins. But that might just be because I miss L.A.
I am deeply, DEEPLY sickened by this. And what really ticks me off is that people think they're doing the right thing! That their cause is just! Just look at those Demons in disguise, smiling! Grr! I am autistic with AS, and this, this just hurts. And Jim Carrey! God I feel so backstabbed...

YOU PEOPLE make ME sick!!! What's wrong with YOU that makes you feel the need to sit on your asses while other people are marching, fighting and demanding a better environment for YOUR children! I was at that march and it was a beautiful thing to see all those parents that care enough about their children to band together for a change in the our future. I don't know if all of you noticed but the autism rate keeps climbing and hundreds of thousands of children completely lost all skills after a vaccine. We pulled large amounts of metal out of my child through chelation and you want to tell me that I shouldn't be fighting for a better environment for MY SON?? The person I love more than anyone in the world? Through biomedical (look it up if you haven't educated yourself about it) we have brought our Son from classic autism to barely on the spectrum. What child doesn't DESERVE a chance to be healthy and lead a normal life? Don't give me your "they are gifts from GOD" lines either. Children weren't meant to be SICK! It's our jobs as parents to heal our children and prevent them from harm and that's exactly what these parents that you are criticizing are doing! Whether my Son gets older and thinks that he was once damaged by vaccines or environment isn't going to MATTER. He will know he recovered from it and that he is a strong and courageous person and that's all that MATTERS. The government allows China to paint our kids toys with lead, they allow chemicals to be sprayed on our child's vegetables and they use metal and chemicals to preserve their vaccines. Have any of you bothered to look at the ingredients in them?? What scientific evidence do you NEED? It's right there in your face!! You can call any of the vaccine manufacturer's and they will tell you that list is correct. That's fine if you want to put aluminum, ether, antifreeze, mercury etc in your children (which is the real child abuse in this situation) but don't criticize the parents that want these TOXIC things taken out! I really don't get why any parent would oppose another group of parents that are fighting for the health of children. I look at my beautiful Son and all I think about is how far I would go to keep him healthy and unharmed.
Oh look, more lies believed by the mindless biomed morons. Why don't you people just leave this country if it is such a terrible, awful place full of people who want to harm your children? Oh, then you wouldn't be getting so much attention, would you?
Oh I see, I am an "attention seeker". Hmmm, wouldn't it make more sense that YOU were the attention seeker? You are the one keeping your children ill so you can get pity from everyone around you. I don't discuss these matters and I certainly won't get attention or pity when my child is healthy and off the spectrum. Autistic or not my child will function in this world and be HAPPY because I gave him every chance at that. How far have you gone? If you think biomed is all lies then you haven't gone far enough. I have living proof in front of me that it works! If your children are older and it wasn't as effective than that's your fault for not getting off your ass sooner. You can't sit around and wait for the world to change, this is our children we are talking about and they deserve much better. I am really at a loss for those of you that sit around with rose-colored glasses on and expect for society to cater to your children. That's not how it is here people. WAKE UP! Join reality!
I am keeping my children ill? Since the only "children" I have are my students, who are legally considered adults, I don't see how I am "keeping them ill." Which brings me to my next point: I do not "sit around" and do nothing, as evidenced by this blog, by my teaching, and by the fact that you and your ilk have been so terribly disturbed by what I have written. Clearly, I am doing quite a bit.
I do not know you and I assumed that since you were judging other PARENTS that you yourself had a right to your opinion. Since you aren't a PARENT I suggest you keep your mouth shut about such topics. You have no idea what it's like to have a CHILD on the spectrum. Shame on you for even passing judgement on a subject you know squat about!
I guess I shouldn't pass judgment on MURDERERS since I don't know what it's like to be MURDERED. How about CHILD ABUSERS? Should I not pass judgment on them since I was not ABUSED AS A CHILD? Your LACK OF LOGIC is astounding.
omg...I've been following this exchange since I WAS at the rally. You don't have any children?! You are like the chimp at the zoo that flings her feces at the glass. Do you need attention? In the future please dicuss a subject you have SOME knowledge of.
What's astounding about all this is your ignorance! You comparing contraversial topics such as murder and child abuse to parenthood speaks for itself. I am really relieved however that you aren't a parent but quite disturbed that you "teach" people with Autism. Do society a favor and continue to use birth control. You are one of those people that will let poison be injected into your babies because the government tells you to. Then you will cry poor me when your child falls ill and sit on your fat ass and expect the state to provide them services their whole life instead of FIXING them. Then we will have to read your blogs about how they are "God's gift" and it was his will for them to be sick. May ignorance continue to be bliss for you...
